Features like regular alerts and notifications pertaining to heat intimations and delivery are sent across to the individual farmer for their particular cattle in specific scenarios, preparing them for prerequisite care.
Punjab 2020 is a joint initiative of Danone Ecosystem Fund, Danone India and Naandi Foundation with the mission to promote sustainable agriculture and healthy maternal and child nutrition in the rural communities of Punjab.
The objectives of Punjab 2020 are:
Sustainable Agriculture: The project aims to promote sustainable agriculture and dairy farming practices and demonstrates it can provide a sustainable livelihood to farmers while also ensuring a sustainable supply of good quality milk to Danone.
Healthy Nutrition: Danone and Naandi will use their expertise in nutrition and community mobilization to promote healthy nutrition in the rural communities of Punjab.
